1st of May except of International Workers' Day is also a spring holiday, that can be traced to ancient greek  customs as they celebrated the officially begining of the spring. Making floral wreaths is one of the characteristics customs of May Day, and may also have its roots in ancient greek history.

 

This is my version of the wreath that I found at PerlillaPets blog, using this tutorial. It's a little bit different and is made out of plastic grocery bags.... hope you like it!

New family member - Η οικογένεια μεγάλωσε...

This is the puppy that we found, it looks like a border collie, only the doctor told us that its gonna be a little bit smaller. I 'm not sure if we gonna keep her -yes it's a girl!- because I have already two, maybe my sister will adopt her. Anyway time will show...

 Αυτό είναι το κουταβάκι που έσερναν από το λαιμό με σπάγγο κάποια γυφτάκια στον Πειραιά.... όπως μας είπε ο κτηνίατρος θα γίνει μεσαίο προς μικρό, αν και τα border collie -αν τελικά αυτή είναι η ράτσα της- γίνονται από 10 έως 22 κιλά. Να την κρατήσω στο διαμέρισμα ενώ έχω άλλα δύο; ...μπα, δε νομίζω. Το πιο πιθανό να την υιοθετήσει η αδερφή μου. Θα δείξει...
